  Speaking of remarkable work, I really enjoyed seeing Brad Emig's fowler at Dixon's. I had seen it a while back when it was still in the white and was impressed even then. Curly ash can be, to put it plainly, an unforgiving bitch to carve. Some splendid bold carving and engraving on this one.

And as usual it is a fantastic looking gun. He seems to have the feel for fowling pieces. Bold work!!

Didn't get to see it in hand, but the photos of it are outstanding.  Some really clean work & very impressive.  Wish I could do that kind of inletting.   :'(  Makes me want to get out the Ash I have been saving & do something with it.
