I'm restoring an old Tranter revolver.
It have 4 of 5 original nipples but I would like to use new ones.
I can get them at 10 pounds each in England plus shipping but I find that Ruger nipples are almost identical. I can thread Rugers two turns into the Tranter cylinder. The difference is that Rugers have 28 threads and Tranters 30 threads.
Now my question:
If I get correct the tool to correct Rugers nipple threads, is it safe to use those nipples?
