Goofing off is a good way to work, no pressure, no deadlines, just let it go. Nice work, now quit goofing off and get back to work :)

Great goofing. When I get time I make up things from pieces I find on my bench, not always horn items.  Dennis

I goof around in the shop all the time and don't end up with stuff like that.  Good work and thanks for posting the pics.

Heat them in lard and then press them takes a few times in the lard and vise to get them to flatten out ..Oh yeah and alot of scraping to begin with to get the side even ...they say a book press works great got to look for one of them ...

great looking work on both those items Ed.  Goofing off can be very good for your craftsmanship sometimes. Gets you doing things with no pressure that you would otherwise stressout over and probably screwup.
