Hardwood tubing blocks, an adjustable wrench with once jaw ground for breech plug taper, and a 5" Wilton Machinists vise is what I use.

just started using a reed rcorp 18" wrench and an old simplex vise for breech plug removal. wish i had that reed wrench years ago!

Purchase the Jim Chambers Rice breechplug removal tool I saw in Jim's booth at Friendship.
Maybe Jim could post a pic of it???
