If I use evaprorust in my barrel will it harm charcoal blueing if I spill some on it??

I believe that evaporust removes all forms of iron oxides, including blueing.  I assume charcoal blueing would suffer the same fate.

grinding compound on an oiled patch first, then lead lap depending on severity.
