Help ID- "T*J"

I'm trying to identify the make of a ~.45 caliber 44 inch swamped barrel with very stylized "T*J" on top flat.  Any clues on who the maker may be?  It was picked up in Sparta, Tennessee (White County).

Owner has put some chalk on the initials to bring them out.

If this is a barrel only with those initials chances are absolutely overwhelming that you will never know! This & similar posts apparently realize that Sellers alone copied well over 25,000 names from the research of others, adding maybe 2% himself. In addition other books by other real researchers have maybe half again as many to add. Assuming it's in cursive [script to us oldtimers] there is the tiniest remote chance someone has seem an identical one.

How about some photos of the rest of the rifle. The barrel by itself still doesn't say much.

Those are not necessarily "T J " as seems obvious. It may be "TS" other even not "T".

Well, thanks for trying. The barrel is a fine piece of work and must have been part of a mighty fine rifle once upon a time. Looks hand forged and the tang is very appealing. A big loss. but still and all nice to see. Is there no chance that the owner might backtrack and see if he can find what is missing, or much of it? Appreciate seeing the photos, thank you.
