Wrong handed rifle
« on: September 15, 2010, 09:12:31 PM »
I posted a few photo's of this rifle earlier this summer. A few of you wanted see more photo's of it. I promised to post more but got busy with things and forgot. I remembered the other day and snapped a few more to post along with a kit I've been working on also.

I like it. Did you make your own butt plate and trigger guard?

Nate I made all the hardware from wrought iron. I love making as much of the rifle as possible. I feel that it has more me in it.

It looks very nice and by the looks of the target it also shoots like a "house a fire". You got a winner there  ;D ;D.

Very nice!  I especially like the little "side plate."  It is those little suttle differences that make the iron mounted southern guns stand out.

Very nice rifle.  Really appreciate it, but it is NOT wrong handed.  Most rifles are made with the lock on the wrong side, you made that one correctly.

I'll join the "I like it" club.

The entry pipe and trigger guard particularly got my attention.

"Correct Handed Rifle", if you ask me! Nice job, especially the hand made hardware. Pretty cool beans!

Very nice rifle and just my style (left-handed).  I especially like the poured nose cap and the really different entry thimble.  Great job.

The correct term is "Devil Handed."   ;D

That's an impressive little rifle there.  The triggerguard is very well thought out and executed.  Distinctive and beautiful.

Great front sight too.  Well done!

I'll rassle you for her...shoes or barefoot?   :D
