Latest Screw Tip

 This one is about 15" around the outside curve not counting the stopper. The Walnut base is about 2 1/2", it is hollowed out and is held in with 5 wooden pegs. The tip is horn and is threaded 1/2-13. Color is AF and Brown shoe polish.

I really do like this one Tim. Like the flow of the tip. also it fits the line of the horn well.. I think the diameter of the tip in proportion to the diameter of the horn AND the angle of taper look nice on this one..those line always catch my eye, for better or worse.....

 Whole horn looks real nice but I love that tip. Very nicely proportioned and grat styling.

 Thanks for the complements. The horn and tip are loosely based on the center horn on page 67 in Grants Powder Horns and Their Architecture.
