My boss came into work last week with a pistol. It was his fathers, who recently passed away. He wants to give the gun to his grandson and ask me if I could find out a little about it. He knows it's not valuable, but would like to know where it was made and when.
All I know about it is his dad lived in NE PA and aquired the gun between 1925-1930.
Here are some pictures. The gun is 10" long, engraved on both sides, no marks or names except what you see on the bottoom of the barrel. I can't read what it says. Grips look like american walnut to me. It's about a .62 smoothbore. Everything works. It's not loaded, I checked.
Thanks,
Bill
