George Washingtons Axe on EBay????

Randy, I think you are right about the price estimate for the axe head. To heck with the George Washington story, that would be reasonable for a broad-arrow marked item of that period.

Oh, and did you get a load of the bayonet? He calls it a Brown Bess bayonet. It appears that it may have a British blade but the socket is American. Don't be shocked if that one goes for as much as a grand if the right buyers get into a bidding war. We'll see.
