Looking and seeing pictures was only the first part of this pistol's adventure for me  - handling this pistol allows one to revel even deeper into it's beauti.  Indeed a pleasure to meet this pistol and it's maker.

Guys,
Thanks again for all the complements on the pistol.  But, I honestly thought Taylor's rifle would win best of show.  I could find no fault what so ever with it....simply a superb rifle.
The pistol belongs to Mel Hankla and will be in his display of contemporary pistols at the CLA show in a couple of weeks.....can't wait to see the display.  Hope to see a lot of you guys there.

Jim, that is very kind of you to say such a thing, and it means everything to me.  I am honoured indeed to have received a second place ribbon in "Masters" class,  for engraving, next to your masterpiece. Truly the pistol is flawless.  I have a number of excellent images that I took for my own greedy little files.  It's truly inspirational.
Congratulations!!  Keep it up.

Sincerely, Taylor

Jim chamber pistol is beautiful. Thank you for posting the pictures Barbie.
Mel Hankla's display of contemporary pistols at the CLA show sounds fascinating.
I'd love to see it, but it's not possible. I live in Norway. I hope someone will post lots of pictures from the display(hint, hint).

Best regards

Well now boys and girls that was a statement from a true Master and a stand up Gentleman 8)  In my book it was a tie; but $#*! what do I know :-[ :-X  In the cold light of day I would say they are both such!!
