This one is about 15” around the outside curve. The Walnut base is about 2 ½”, it is hollowed out and held in place with 4 steel pins. The collar is horn and is pinned to the neck with 3 steel pins. It has the threads for the tip cut into it, the threads are 1/2-13. It is after the bottom horn on page 67 of Grant’s
Powder Horns and Their Architecture.

Very nice horn, Tim. I really like the coloring and look of it.
The internal thread tip is great. Those are a pain to do well.

Tim, I like the way the horn lines are carried up into the plug. I also agree with Jeff on the tips. Yours is very well done.
