Drilling Fixture
« on: January 02, 2011, 06:00:06 AM »
Just received the drilling fixture I ordered from Dave R the Monday after Christmas. Just used it today on underlug pins and a lock plate bolt. Sure takes a lot of the guess work out of the process! Works just like the instuctions say!

Gary,  The drill bits are 6" long.  They are called aircraft drills.

Rick,  Thanks for the endorsement.  Gary just purchased the second to last fixture I have on the shelf.

Everyone, Thanks for your patronage.  I will be ordering more material in the next week or two and working on making up a few more sets to have on hand.  Right now I want to finish carving an Isaac Haines rifle I picked up a year and a half ago.

MSC carries aircraft drills. McMaster-Carr. Maybe Enco does, too.
