 Nice job, looks like you've worked a lathe before. There is no end to the possibilities, you will never look at a pile of fire wood the same again and every rack you see you will be trying to figure out out to get the most tips out of it.

I have the same Lathe, mines much older though!! Did yours come with the variable speed attachment or was this an extra..good job and good turning :o

it is the jet jml 10x14 vsi variable speed . i caught it on sale for $349 shipped.
i now need some more projects.

Looks like you did a nice job. A nice job of cleaning up after using the lathe as my work area looks like a saw mill floor after i'm done turning. Keep up the good work and have fun.  Gary

That's a really neat ball bag.  I've already started drawing out a pattern for a ball bag; the first one for me.  What did you use to wrap the plug end with?

i used 1/2" rawhide that i soaked untill soft (overnight) and then streached between my hands.
