Small Wrench
«

I am not posting this as any great achievement of art or craft, it is neither; but it was a fun and useful little project a bit different from most of the items in this area of the forums. Part of the idea was to make a powder drum wrench that was so small that you couldn't overtorque the drum. And as long as you are making a drum wrench, why not add a slot for the nipple flats? This is O1 material and has been hardened.

Very nice, O.B., I like it. How thick is it? Maybe machine a small area in the middle of one of the sides to fit the clean-out screw, then it's 3 tools in one.

It is /8" thick.
Add a screwdiver to one side! I like the way you think Ron. If wide enough it could remove the lock bolt also.

okie,
Just file down one end for a screw driver blade. Leaves it nice and compact.

Good idea, almost looks like a miniature breach plug wrench.

Filing one end might make it weak and prone to break out where it's thin already. I was thinking in the middle and using it lke a t-handle.
