For a swivel breech rifle, what's the shortest barrels one could use and not look-or shoot strange?  Anyone actually seen any short barreled rifles?

I have a .62 caliber "Jaeger" style swivel breech rifle that has 24" barrels. It really doesn't look too short or stubby. The barrels are swamped Colerains, used to keep weight down and because they look great.

A friend of mine made a percussion swivel breech with 21" barrels (one smooth and one rifled).  It had a back action lock.  I started a double perc. sxs with the same length barrels, but never finished it.

Any chance you could post a pic of the Jaeger?  I'm trying to visualize a shorter set of barrels.
