Yes, that trigger pin tower will make a big difference, especially noticeable in a pistol.

You are very brave, taking on this project. Fabulous work, and thank you so much for step by step pictures. Very inspiring!

Ruanastav, Confiscating stuff from the wife, cool. Mine has stuff that would be better severed  being on a gun too. Now to make sure she doesn't miss it  ;D :D ;D :D

Runar,

It's really a treat to watch your progress. You are doing an excellent job of interpretive work.

Just curious, as you braze your brass pieces together how close are you able to match your brass and brazing rod in color? Not all brass is the same and the colors are different when polished out. As it ages, the joints may show if not near the same.

David, I use silver based brazing(Braze Tec 5600)it is very strong and I can build up, and the best it is free ;Dget it from a friend working in a shipyard he he ;)
And you are right the joint vill show, for me it is patina :)See photo of the cap of a 1772 Danish/Norwegian pistol I build some years ago.
Ok, the pistol is now in the white. have to make sights and some carwing, but now wayting for more ELBOW GREASE :D

Thanks Runar.

The pistol is looking great!  ;D Can't wait to see how you finish it out. I think I see some design on the top of the grip area.
