Maps

Many of you many know this, but I just found it tonight.  While watching the History channel tonight, there was a program on the Library of Congress.  They have some neat buildings and I wanted to look a bit more, so I went to their web site.  I googled it and easily found their home page.  I had just begun digging around for "old stuff" and was pleased to find a section on maps.  All kinds of map, including dozens from the Revolution era.  They do not seem to be very user friendly, but with a little prodding around was able to get a closer look at many of them.

Anyways I know the Horners like to scratch maps onto many of their horns, and thought I would post about it.  I have not looked at many, but thought it was pretty neat, as there are a lot of images of old maps.

Hope someone can enjoy it as much as I already have.  When you get to the home page, on the right side under topics, you should see a link for maps.  Enjoy!   Andrew  ;)

See if this helps. Just enter a location in the search box.
