Just finished up this pipe axe that I am donating to my local blackpowder club for a raffle. This axe started out life as a Davis late 18th century English pipe axe. The stem cap ornamentation was inspired (plagiarized) from the Menawa pipe axe.

Dave.....That is one beautiful Pipe Hawk. I particularly like the Man in the Moon motif on top of the handle. Will raffle tickets be made available ? Kind Regards Frank

Chip,
I am sure Bremerton can relieve you Puyallup guys of some of your latte money.
Doug Kitchens is setting up the raffle. I think he is going to limit the tickets to 200 at $5.00 a piece. I am not getting involved in the promotion. I am just a lowly craftsman.

Great work Dave, Super bands, nice mods on the head too and that cap, WOW. The mouth piece is outstanding (makes me want to go pour one, pewter mouth piece that is.)
