re-rifling a barrel
« on: February 06, 2011, 06:18:19 PM »
I did a swap with a guy, and am going to end up with a Len Graves Hawken.
I won't have the gun till next week, so won't be able to be specific about much.
First off, does anyone know who Len Graves is?
The rifle has been shot, I don't know how much.
Is there anybody out there redrilling, and re-rifling barrels?
Thanks
Jim

I am not positive, but I think Bob Hoyt will do it.  Do a google search for him for his contact info.

Jim:    I have done a number re- boring/refiling  jobs.   The projects have included old and contemporary barrels alike.  The contemporary barrels were either "shot out" or would not shoot very well right from  the manufacturer.   After refiling they would put a smile of satisfaction on the owner's face.   ;)              Hugh Toenjes
