Since my grain measure only adjusts out to 100 or maybe 105? I have never used more shot than a 100 gr measure holds. I am thinking that might be fine with 65 gr of FF... but I need to test it. I'd rather use the minimum that will work rather than the maximum. being a frugal mizer...

I agree, you shouldn't use it.

On the other hand, I don't have a "thin walled smoothbore" as subjective as that phrase is, and have shot it a lot since you voiced your speculation each of the last 2 years.
