Iron Mounted Beck!

Anyone out there with time on their hands kind enough to post pictures of such a rifle original hopefully?  Not educated enough on the Beck for the one stuck in the vise as I type.

You aren't going to find any origianl iron mounted Becks.  Check in the museum, I believe at least on Beck is show.  Also check out Kindigs book and RCA.

I couldn't do Ol Beck's work justice anyhow, so we'll see how it goes. No rush on this one!  Thanks for responding.

I also built one a few years ago for a customer and it was pretty popular. All steel Originals haven't surfaced yet and maybe never will. But all the parts for one are available today. So proceed with your plan and have fun with it!

T. Caster's Becks are great to study and his iron mounted Beck was a dandy. I might have pictures of it saved on my hard drive if you can't find it in the archives; will look.

An iron Beck would be great.  You just never know if Beck made at least one iron mounted rifle because we don't have every one of his rifles he ever built.  You never know.  He could have made what ever the customer wanted?  Should be a cool rifle.  Good Luck!
