American Tradition
« on: February 17, 2011, 08:06:05 PM »
Just got the lattest Vol. of American Tradition. Wow.  Mel Hankla states that the bar was set pretty high in the first two editions but they did not fall down any on this the lattest edition. What a great mix of topics and photo excelence. Its a must see.  Smylee

It is a CLA publication that is published twice a year and sent to all members. An excellent issue. The photography and the articles are superb.

nice if it was a monthly publication. Can't wait for the next one. I think they would sell more than muzzleloader and muzzleblast combined

Mine came yesterday--March 2nd.

I threw away the plastic wrap without looking at the shipping lable but it may be that to save a little money the CLA is shipping at one of those low rates where bulk mail sits until there is empty space in a truck. There have been lots of complaints about late deliveries by the US Mail  in our local paper and it almost always turns out to be a decision the shipper made.

If anyone can figure the Post Office out they are more savvy than I.
Letters take amazing detours at times letters mailed in Billings arriving 80 miles away with Wolf Point MT post marks.
Mail leaving here for Eugene Or. Used to take up to a week longer than going to small town NE Iowa. NE Iowa is marginally farther.
