Just got this today. Brand new. Track of the Wolf has it (others might also, I don't know). Hot off the presses "Of Sorts For Provincials: American Weapons of the French and Indian War", by Jim Mullins. Presented in glorious TECHNICOLOR and panoramic Cinemascope!
There are wonderful photographs from several viewpoints on each gun. Quite a few muskets, carbines and such. Some really beautiful English fowlers and fusils, and two rifles. The "Faber" gun and the big rifle with the old French lock. What (pleasantly) surprised me was that there were no attributions given for either of these guns.
There also are some shot bags, cartridge pouches, swords, etc. An absolute Must-Have book. It was like $33.95.
Who says color photography is too expensive?
