A Couple Of Horn Turkey Calls

 The mouth piece on  the one with the bands screws in, it is about 6 ½” X 1 2/4”. On the other one the horn was heated and the mouth piece was pressed in, it is about 4 ½” X ¾”.

 That is a piece of bone, like they use on Indian breast plates. I picked up a couple pieces to try, I had my doubts that it was bone but after a burn test and sawing I find that it is infact bone. It threads well but you have to use a lube or it crushes.
 I have made them out of antler and horn. This one is antler.

 If you have heard a leg bone call they are used and sound the same way.
