Looking for stock reccommendations

Hey you all,
I acquired a GM barrel in 3/4" diam. 42"long in .36 cal at the Western NMLRA Shoot in Phoenix this past month, and now I'm on the prowl for the stock.
I am looking to build an E. Tenn. squirrel rifle and would like something in cherry or walnut. ( I'm tired of maple and want something different) 
Any Recommendations?
I need the barrel and ramrod channels cut but the rest I can do myself.

You might want to get with Mr. T. Dennis Glazener here on this web site.

He offers some real nice Gillespie patterns and he may be able to offer you something in cherry like you're looking for.
