Could be a colonial restock.  I think the British trade rifles used 3 screws on the sideplate.  But the carving behind the cheekpiece and the cheekpiece look more American than the early British trade rifles, Lancaster pattern I've seen published.

Looks like the original European walnut stock to me. I think that version of the carving is either in Bailey's book or the "red" KRA book.

Other than the replaced rear (3rd) screw in the sideplate it looks like really great condition.
