18th c. English Ball Grip Knife

An English styled ball grip belt or table knife with bone grip scales. 6" blade of 3/32 01 vanadium tool steel, featuring a full tapered tang and blade. This is a slightly smaller version of one I made last year. The sheath is a center seam on the back side, and stained black with vinegaroon. Hope you enjoy a look.

A useful knife well done .Although muzzle loading shotguns are my thing a couple of years ago when I had a gun display at a local show he in the UK the next stall to me was Danish knife maker .He mostly worked with Damascus knifes ,I have enclosed a couple of images of his work which you might be interested in .

Very, very nice work indeed. Both knife and sheath are very well done.
