That's a nice little gun, but I see absolutely NOTHING that would make it a Jaeger.  Looks more like an English gun.

Just my observation.

Agree.  Track just calls a short barreled rifle a jaeger.  Nicely done, and unusual in some ways- the curved underside of the buttstock and the small caliber in particular.

Well, yeah, Track. I once sold a flinter through them, and they used NONE of the info on the gun that I provided. Not the builder, nor the barrel maker, nor the lock maker. Nada. ::)

Still an interesting little gun. Long LOP in a short, light, small caliber gun.

Nathan built this gun as an English rifle with some William Turvey influence. When he sold them the gun he told them this and when they listed it still yet as something else he told them again, but they will not change the listing. Nathan was hoping that ppl would not think that was his interpretation of a Jaeger. I will past this post along to him...I know he will appreciate it.

Please do let him know! And we have confirmation YET AGAIN that, as good as they can be at times, TOW can sure get things FLAT WRONG. Won't likely keep me from shopping there from time to time, but you'd think they'd find it a little embarrassing to be caught like this. ::)

Out of respect for Nathan, I've added quotation marks to "Jaeger."
