May I ask you,... what are you using for metal for the vent pick? Also, are you using copper for the rings attaching the measure, pick and brush? Very nice!

Very nice!...depends on what size touch hole you need to use it in. this one was made for my Fowler and was 1/8 inch round stock heated and drawn out with a hammer and anvil. when I achieved the point/taper i was looking for I heated the entire length and twisted it then oil quenched. The rings are copper contractors wire hammered square and then wrapped around a steel rod then cut. I then put the rings in the ends and soldered them together with lead free solder and a pencil torch.Thank you all for the nice comments.
