Is anyone going to Langhorne on Sunday?  I'll be heading down after church.  I will probably take some photos too and post them here.

Jeez Jim, does a bear do it in the woods, H____ yes we'er going, so far 4 of us. 1 1/2 hrs down the pike if smoky bear is sleeping. If not takes longer.   Ol Mike J runs a good shoot and has for 25 years.  'We' have made everyone so far ;D
Good variety of matches, offhand, x stix, kneeling, chunk, leaning on a plastic tree, and bench. Also an ever changing primative.  Good prizes, rib eye roasts, cash, merchandise....See ya there.  He shoots 9 til 4 p.m.  :)

Dave Algard, Ken Milburn & Bill Rabuck.  Maybe Fuzzy Johnson and/or Mark Hoffman.

Mark has a new young wife so I don't know WHAT he'll be doing Sun morning ;D ::)

Well, then, Roger, see you there.  Save me a spot.  Save me some Xs too.  Don't hog the show.

I was able to make the shoot today after church and shot a few targets and took some photos of shooters and shoot personnel.  Mike and Pat Jarnutowski host an excellent event.  Next shoot is the third Sunday in September.  Too bad they don't shoot through the summer.

Here are some of the photos.  Unfortunately, I don't know the names of everyone I had taken a picture of.

Pat Jarnutowski runs the target shack and provides lunch for the shooters.  She makes an excellent chili.

Mike Amico, well known shooter from NJ, is getting ready to take a shot at an egg off in the distance.

A view down the loading line

Events include Black Powder Cartridge Rifle

Roger Fisher at the loading bench.  Dave Algard in the plaid shirt.

More photos coming...

Please enjoy,
James Grimes

Sighting in on the crossed sticks

This was one of my winning targets.  It was an egg for 50 yd. offhand. I used a .40 cal. flinter.

Mike, aka "The Marlboro Man"

Three more to go; will be posted soon.

Final three photos

Picking over the day's targets

More target picking

Mike Amico with his winning ham

Good day shooting... eighteen photos posted.  I took home two hams, but I think Roger Fisher was the big winner.  He went home loaded (with meat prizes, that is).

I will probably take photos at most of the shoots I attend and post them here.  Also, I would love to see photos from other shoots around the US and Canada.
