Bob, thanks for these pics.  When I lived in Squamish BC in the mid 70's, I had a shop in the laundry room of our small home.  Like yours, there was only enough room for one person at a time, but it had a window over the bench like yours, and I liked that a lot.

Thanx guys.   It is a separate building. Insulated & easy to heat. My  first experience was restocking a british 14ga diuble and my space was the top of the freezer.
I enjoy my wee space though but do have to watch it with  a long gun so as not to put divets in the stock.  Bob

Greybeard, I think a lot of guys have similiar messy benches like yours. Best feature your shop has is that window.

Pathfinder,

You use the chainsaw to cut your leather? ;D

I have a basement that I am in the process of remodeling to make room for my "stuff".

Runastav....is that a LAW rocket launcher over the bench? Holy cow Bat man...does that take 2F powder, or do you get better groups with 3F?
(just joking...) Those are all pretty nice shop photos...makes me wish I was home working in mine right now..

I am in the process of setting up my first shop at home.  I claimed the small garage out back.  I have a nice bench, some tools, and a mill.  With some better lights, a new door, and a wood stove, it would be official in my mind.

You know we have been blessed with seeing some pretty untidy shops on this post and would be nice to see some of the members shops that are as tidy and neat as an ER  scrub station. I know thats how some of the members work so how about it folks ?????
     Cheers     Bob
