I have  three .50 rifles.  In my favorite, barreled with a Colerain 44" swamped bbl, the maker advised 60 gr fffg with .490 ball and 'flannel patch', a combo he said he'd won many offhand matches with in a like -barreled rifle.  But I found 75 gr fffg with .490 and .015 patch to be more to my liking as a hunting load.

I have gravitated to 90 FFF swiss in my current 50, up from 75. Which was just a guess. It shot well but 90 shoots better and boy does it shoot flat. I have been to lazy to set up the chrono but suspect it is 2000+.
I had a 50 cal Douglas 48 twist years ago and used 90 gr of GOEX FFF in it and it was probably one of the most accurate rifles I ever had.
75 Swiss is pretty close to 90 goex in velocity.

More accurate questions might be:

How many have actually paper targeted their 'chosen' accuracy load from a bench?

How many have actually worked up an accuracy load by starting low and increasing the charge while testing, target after target and what was the most accurate load?

How many of the loads listed are merely a load chosen, sighted for and used?

.50cal Dickert
42" GM barrel with Ed Rayl round bottom grooves
Tried Goex 3F and 2F charges, and 2 different patches, the best groups come from:

90grns Goex 3F
.50cal Oxyoke 'wonderwad' over powder
.018" pillow ticking
.490" ball

I couldn't begin to shoot groups like it clusters unless it's off the bench, I'm not about to kid myself or anyone else about my abilitys.
I started at 35gr and worked up in 5gr increments. Used 7 or 8 different patch materials,,even tried a double patch before settling on the .020 denim.  Tried a .495 ball but wouldn't group with any combination I tried.
Patch lube was anything from spit to commercial products,, home brew concoctions commonly listed,, to my final choice.
Tried different cadences of wiping between shots, not wiping, ramrod pressure, round patch, square patch, etc.

The whole process took from July till October of last year shooting once a week at my gunclub range.
It was a fun if not sometimes frustrating process but I wanted to know if the rifle really could shoot and not just make noise.
I did use up a small pile of old used targets I had saved from my .22cal Bulleye shooting days in the process. The RB punched a clean hole in those older heavy tagboard targets.

Now I have to get working and make another rifle.
