I bought some a few weeks ago for $ .75 a pound.  It was old roof flashing and pipes.  The stuff is dirty but the price was right and is is good soft lead.  The time before that I bought a bunch of 1 pound ingots.  This was clean & pure stuff and I paid $1.00 per pound.

Current fair market value for what you are describing is around 80 cents/lb..

Shipping lead is no problemo, you might want to look into the flat rate USPS boxes.

I know of one shop that sells the 1 lb ingots for $1.25 per lb/ingot!

I suggest you get hold of all you can.  It doesn't spoil!

With lead prices soaring you should have no problem selling the excess!

Current scrap price of pure SOFT lead here in the Central Shenandoah Valley (as of last week) is 50 cents per pound - roof flashing, electrical sheathing, stained glass window lead, lead pipe, etc. A friend of mine who is an N-SSA shooter has been buying it at that price since June (over 250 pounds so far, he shares with his shooting partners at his price) and what he has gotten is indeed very soft. He's going to save out 10 pounds for me in the next batch.
