Nationals at Friendship
« on: June 07, 2011, 03:26:50 AM »
Hope to see many familiar faces at Friendship next week and a few new ones also.

The gun makers match is Sunday, the best match of the week.  Bring  your latest rifle .  This is a match that there are no losers, only winners.

Pletch,
I got your message, yes the woods walk with you and Steve is one of the highlights of the week for me.  This year we must shoot at the running boar also, sounds like fun.

I have finished the two rifles for my two grandoughters but havn't taken any pictures of them yet but they will be on display at  Gun Makers Hall for the week.  After I get back I will post them on ALR.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

Great to hear from you, Dave.  I can't wait to see the 2 rifles.  Your granddaughters are lucky kids.

I never tried the running boar.  I don't know if my 44" barrel will swing fast enough.  I'll need pointers.

Regards,
Pletch

Kayla Mueller - I didn't come here of my own accord, and I can't leave that way.  Whoever brought me here, will have to take me home.

I think they need a running boar pistol match.

By the way, are most of the vendors gone by the middle of the first week? :-\

I think they need a running boar pistol match.

That would be fun - I can see a realistic rule for such a realistic event - as in .54 cal or larger and minimum powder charges, say 55 to 60gr. powder.

Skychief,
The last couple of years a lot of the vendors were gone by Tuesday or Wednesday.
