Sounds like a good match, almost like the York. Would try to be there but will be in Friendship for the Youth shoot with the grandson.

It is a great shoot, normally hot.    Don Singer does a great job with a pig and all the fixins.   He also shows no mercy
when he's laying on the ground.   If I remember correctly, he finished second to Art DeCamp, also had two or three best
X's.   Plenty of room on the shooting line, lots of loading tables.   Good prizes........Don gives all the money back in prizes,
can't beat that..................Don

Man oh man what a bunch of old goats.  Lookin at me I can understand why the neighbor lady no longer 'calls me over'! ;D

We sure hope this coming July 9th is drier than the first shoot they held some years ago.

Would I love to join you folks, but the drive is just to far unless I can combine it with some thing else. Maybe another year.

Roger, where did you get that straw hat? Would love to find one like it. My wool campaign hat is just to warm for the summer months.

The Amish (which I am not) wear them, can't recall (much anymore) where it ever came from.  ::)

Those hats are sold most everywhere around here - as if WE need them - hahahahahahaha! Well, actually we do some days. Canadian Tire, Walmart, Sears, Hudson's Bay (1 pelt), London Drugs - usually they run right around $20.00 CDN - that would be about $25.00 US, I guess. :D
