Got my new fowler
« on: February 11, 2012, 06:59:53 AM »
Nice surprise after working in Miami for two months I was able to pick up my new 20 gauge upland fowler on the way home last week. Got to shoot it today and I am more than well pleased with it. It has a slight expansion chamber choke that works with 85 grains FF and 7/8 ounce of #6 shot, all pellets except for a few fliers stay in 30 inches at 20 yards and I still have a good pattern at 33 yards. I also shot some .600" patched balls through it with 90 grains of FF, decent grouping but I need to put more work into it. The builder did an awesome job of fitting it to me because it feels completely natural and it is faster handling than I expected it to be.

Ciao!
