toy for patches

Wanted something to line up my patch & ball. While i tried different things i came up with this idea, it helps to keep the lead nipple straight while i load i want to see when the nipple is crooked how much it deviates and i can see how much material i need for my patch to barely cover the ball this patch is one inch and it's a .445 ball. I find that when it's to big it stick to the ball to long, example 1 1/2 patch flies up to 20 yards and the one inch goes around 7 yards does it change something in the bullet flight can't say maybe if it sticks to the bullet to long its deviates from it's flight another thing to check on.

Appears you've made a 1 shot loading block out of brass. Most guys who use loading blocks, use them bored for 4 to 10 or 12 shots, especially in the smaller sizes.
