Getting together more information, for the second edition of Michigan Gunsmiths One of the auction sites has a Michigan rifle by W.K. Strong. Strong apparantly used more than one barrel source.
On this one the barrel is stamped L.K. Platt
Has anyone ever heard of this Platt, in any capacity?
I've looked thru Sellers, and Swinney's five volume set but no mention of any Platt.
