Raszpla, you are very talented with file and saw, and I admire your workmanship a great deal.  In this day of instant gratification, stainless steel and plastic, it is so refreshing to see the work of a genuine craftsman/artist.

Razpla,
I always understood that a spring needed to be really smooth on the surface in order to function without breaking.  I see that yours is really pitted on the rounded end.  will this work without breaking?
I enjoy your work

Translation from BING:

However, you need to learn to tweak, i.e. the force on it, such work that when the profile changes worked evenly "wisely" on its length. Note the deep undercutting and select profile Springs, compare them to the minor, mikroskopijnymi wżerami korozyjnymi!

Really cool photo sequences.

Not difficult to see why the wheellocks are so sure fire with such blunt 'stones. Of course, the notches surely help.  The one Taylor built, has a smooth wheel for flints and seems to work as well with old, dull flints as it does with the notched wheel and pyrites.
