There's a E-bay seller out on the west coast that might be able to help you.  He sells project wood cut from just about every tree imagineable.  I'll see if I can find him and if he has a running auction I'll post the link here to the auction so you can try to contact him yourself.

Here's one of the links I was speaking of.  Actually there was more than one seller I came across on E-bay.  I'm still looking for the other vendor.

C JR,
The wheel is on the outside.  That way any powder that gets away will fall on the ground and not cause a danger by accumulating.

After one or two shots, the fit between the wheel and the slots is perfectly matched.

I think Taylor used the slotted wheel to cut the grooves in his Pistol's pan - a perfect match on his pistol. With a lot of firing, the 'fit' would become looser due to groove wear, but will last a long time, just the same.

I once again begin to build the puffer, I think in order to simultaneously perform the technical documentation and photography.

niektóre elementy konstrukcji nie wymagają stali o wyższej zawartości węgla (C) niż granica 0,50%( może być stal o niższej zawartości węgla) ale to mało ważny szczegół.

From Bing:

some items do not require the construction of steel with a higher carbon content (C) than the limit of 50 (can be steel with lower carbon content) but this is not an important detail.

postaram się w prosty sposób przestawić metody określania wymiarów wynikających z proporcji. Błędy mieszczą się w przyzwoitej tolerancji nie obiegającej od "norm renesansowych lub wczesnobarokowych". :)

I hope this explains a lot :)

Translation from Bing:

"I'll be an easy way to switch the method for determining the dimensions of the resulting from the aspect ratio. Errors that fall within a decent tolerance, not obiegającej from the "standards of Renaissance or wczesnobarokowych".

Here's another wood supplier.  He's knowledgeable of ML gunstocks.  I bought a real nice American walnut pistol stock from him recently and the price was cheap for the beautiful figure it has.

This is from the business card he enclosed with the stock he shipped:

mphwood@gmail.com

Chuck Miller: 503-449-2068

His E-bay seller ID is mphmkt (all lover case).

Here is one of his current E-bay auctions:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BLACK-WALNUT-muzzle-loader-black-powder-pistol-gunstock-blank-/150668564117?pt=Vintage_Hunting&hash=item23148bd695

He also has an auction for a pistol stock in American Chestnut and one in Elm.

I hope this gives you and everyone else an additional source for our kind of wood(s).

Hi Raszpla!
Do you use the wheel as a mill? ???, when I build my wheellock pistol and Carabin from scrath this was the most difficult part whith the hole build I think.
