David Condon Collection Club Butt Fowlers

Would anyone know how I might get in touch with Mr. David Condon?  I seem to be finding that he's a rather tough fellow to get a hold of?
Reason is that I'm in the midst of doing a little research of my own for a club butt fowler I'm looking to build, and he has the original piece that I'm looking to recreate.  
I've got a few questions about a particular gun in his collection and its dimensions and whether or not the barrel in it is swamped or if its a straight tapered barrel instead.  I know that the general rule is that by far, most of the 18th century fowlers "did" have swamped barrels in themselves, swamped at varying sizes.  However, I have read that other did use straight tapered barrels in the 18th century (not only something that was seen in the 19th century as it was common place by then).
Other questions circle around stock dimensions, lock dimensions, etc.

Actually, I tried calling earlier today,.. his hours on home page didn't match the message on the phone when you call, so I missed him.  Called last week, but he wasn't in,.. no return call, I figured he was busy there with things, certainly understandable.  
I was just wondering, perhaps some of the fellas on here may know him personally?  Or perhaps he may even be on here by chance??  It's always worth asking,..you never know!
I'm interested in heading down to his shop to check out the particular gun in person if possible.

I've heard some very interesting stories regarding Mr. Condon's reaction when the subject of 'recreating' any one of his pieces was broached, or recreating flintlock arms in general even.  VERY interesting - shall we say, >>>---> explosively <---<<< interesting?  Just the "word on the street."  Might want to approach the subject with extreme delicacy...

Well, all I can do is go about it with kid gloves and the utmost respect,....and hope for the best. 
Honestly, I'm very interested in any history involved with the gun, which along with its interesting lines, plays a part in my interest,.. in any gun for that matter.

I know Dave pretty well and he is a fine guy. I'm not sure he actually collects guns. Perhaps the club butt you refer to is the one in Whiskers book "Early American Flintlocks". That gun was for sale on his sight and I think it has been sold.

The original was supposedly English Walnut.  Keeping in the tradition of what was used,... just a decision to include that rather than exclude it...that's all.

Ditto to what Eric K says!!! I still have some scars on my ear drum from such a discussion with him at one of our local gun shows.
