I use "a-lot" and recommend for pistol patterns two books. 1) "The Kentucky Pistol" by Chandler and Whisker and 2) "Kentucky Rifles & Pistols" by James R. Johnson. Also 3) "The English Pistol" a pictorial study, by BeeBe & Bingham, 4) London Gunmakers and English Duelling Pistol 1770-1830, 5) "The American Flintlock Pistol" by S.E. Dyke and Antique Flintlock & Percussion Pistol Patterns---Pryor Mt. Bill Newton. Happy hunting for the "just right" pistol to reproduce. Have a great day, AJ
