I'll let Billy chime in as to all the particulars, but for now just eye candy.  Great job Billy on these horns!

Both of these are small horns (about 10 inches).  Top horn has a pine plug and an applied tip.  Bottom horn has a cherry plug and applied tip.  I just thought to share and see what you guys thought.  These are sort of Squirrel Hunter size.  Please feel free to comment and I hope you enjoy.

Billy did you use any 'coloring' to these or are they the original color of the horns?

Gary:
Both horns were colored.  The top horn was colored using leather die and dry heat.  A medium brown die was applied to a natural dark honey colored horn.  The bottom horn was colored using Rit die (yellow gold and dark brown) in a long steep.  The bands and tips of both horns were colored along with the horns using the same techniques on each horn.  The natural color of the bottom horn was a honey with white still in some areas of the horn.
