Say, any of you boys smithies? Or, if not smithies per se, were you otherwise trained in the metallurgic arts before straitened circumstances forced you into a life of aimless wanderin'?

His Hudson River stuff is the absolute finest - and most importantly, most realistic - I have seen ANYWHERE.  I suspect there is some type of underlying connection between his vast talents as a furniture maker and his talents in building HV fowlers, because oddly enough I think those guns in particular lie more than a little in the realm of fine furniture as opposed to, say, a kentucky rifle.  I don;t know why I think this.  But I'm definitely jealous - everyone wants to pull off a believable hudson river piece, but I think he's the only one who can!
Strange women lying in ponds, distributing swords, is no basis for a system of government!

I agree with both of you.  I have one of Kens guns and enjoy it very much.  He makes first class furniture and knives.  Good thing he doesnt make powder horns. He is a real gentleman and someone I am proud to call a friend.
