trigger and hunderhammer

lighter trigger pull on an under hammer, do make or buy a lighter spring  or do you work on the trigger, since there is only four parts to the trigger system.

Frenchman,
I do not fool around with the spring on my underhammers. I stone the trigger and hammer contact points to slick them up and have gotten some some very smooth trigger pulls. Trying to "lighten" the spring may result in poor ignition due to lighter than wanted hits on the cap.

Trigger pull should be adjusted as the other Mark said above - smooth up the contact surfaces.  Adjusting the geometry of the contact surfaces may also be necessary.

If the mainspring is excessively strong it can be lightened by a slight reduction in the length where it engages the hammer.

Very interesting,
 i am surprise how much a simple action has it's very interresting quarks and Dangers.
Will be checking the contact points four sure and i will stay away from the spring
