Jack is a very talented, yet humble man.  He is not only one of the best contemporary makers of 18th century style rifles, but also an amazing restorer.

I met Jack two  years ago, he was in need of a .62 Jaeger rifle barrel, and I wanted one of his patchboxes. He only lives about 1/2 hour form me, so I was thrilled to go to his house and see his shop.
A very nice man, and I still haven't used that patchbox.

Jack is also an amazing teacher!  He can usually tell if a student is "getting it" or not and will try different approaches until the information or skill is understood.  What patience!
