Santa's List
« on: November 16, 2008, 03:53:12 AM »
This year my wife asked me what I wanted from Santa and I replied "gun parts". She said I would have to be more specific and probably pick them out myself.   ;D

I called up Stonewall Creek Outfitters today to see what they might have on sale. To my surprise they have ALL their Colerain barrels at 15% off retail 'til the end of the year!

I might be able to squeeze a fowler barrel out of Santa this year!! I just need to get another stock from Mike Brooks to go with it soon. His English fowler kit profile is super.

So do any of you have any guns, parts and accessories on your wish list this year?

Just a simple thing - a Billy Watson Revolutionary Folding Knife.  I missed one on eBay this year and continually kick myself for not bidding higher.

Two Ed Rayle .octagon swamped pistol barrels in steel, but I probly won't get them.
Wife says no more parts until I finish the two projects I'm working on(a pair of kentucky pistols and a Beck rifle). Anyone know what two Ed Rayl barrels cost?

Best regards

I think Stonewall Creek had the Rayl 10" 50 cal. rifled-swamped for 200.00 for 2 or 105.00 each.

Well since it’s a Wish list, I’ll forego all the gun stuff and just stick with Accessories instead, say like a brand new Ferrari! Or even a slightly used one!  ;D

This is why a locked workshop (or one that is separate from one's house) is so important.  And don't forget the brother or friend that can be an alternative mailing address, so those darned packages constantly arriving don't arouse suspicions.  A separate checking account is also a good idea.

Of course, this will soon mean getting a secret second job, so the missing money you are burning through doesn't become apparent.

You must realize this will all come out in the divorce proceedings when you get caught, but at least you have your fun for a while.

Merry Christmas! ;)
