Mechanick Exercises by Moxon
« on: November 10, 2011, 05:05:18 AM »
Here's a link to a Google book that some of you may find interesting for the discussion of tools and their use in the early 18th century. Not gunsmithing but forging, filing, and drilling are included.

I have a copy at my bedside. The bullet mold making instructions and his comments about sources of iron are eye openers.

Cool post Dennis.  Thanks for the link and information.
