First meat for the year

Got up early but the weather did'nt look to good. Windy an trying to sprinkle rain. Left the flintlock an grabbed the 54 Haines percussion. Went back behind the house an set up on the ground in a thicket. Just after good light this lil 90 lb doe come in an stopped at about 30 yrds facing me. Shot her straight on an she fell where she was standing. She made a good bit of stew meat an a few roasts an the tenderloin will go great in some big cathead biscuits

Absolutely perfect eating!!!  I have shot a few that size and the meat was fantastic.  Congrats to ya.
